what would you guys say is a low, medium and high activity level. can you give me expamples for each

for example i plan to go to the gym 5 days a week. cardio 30-45mins 3 times a week.

That would be medium. Generally, I find that most characterizations of activity levels label them as low-slightly above couch potato (activity to sustain life and get from point A to point B with as little effort as possible, no physical demands on the job). High-Intense physical exercise 3-5 times per week, a job which demands a high level of physical exertion daily (sweating, busting your ass all day). Moderate-somewhere in between (you are moving around in your job often, walking quite a bit, working out 3-5 times a week, working in the yard, etc.) I would say you are looking at medium to high if you are fairly active outside the gym. What do you think?
