Ok, after I received a motivating and caring e-mail from one of the moderators I decided that I'd hop back on my workout wagon after a 5 week hiatus. So, I had a great workout on Monday and was/am very excited to get back into my work out routine. HOWEVER, I have been battling what I thought was a cold for the past 2 weeks and decided to get myself to the doctor yesterday. Turns out that I have a sinus and throat infection. The doc put me on an antibiotic and a decongestant... so, should I keep working out or should I rest? The good side is that I've lost 5 lbs in all this.
What do you all think? :(

Rest until you are feeling up to par, and then two days more so you don't relapse.
Then get back at it and eat right/take your vitamins - I almost always get sick the first week back from a lay-off, I don't know if it is just that the activity gets the germs stirred up in my system or what, or is it because i think i alwaYS GET SICK THAT FIRST WEEK. oops. CAPS LOCK, DARNIT! Not yelling!
Extra Fluids!!!!!
-------------- If you fall down seven times, get up eight.

Well, at least today I finally feel not exhausted anymore. I've been on antibiotics and have a few more days to go with them. So I think I'll get back on track in a week. Thanks for all the support.
