Help! I can't stay away from the fast food! I wonder why my trips to the gym seem in vain! What are some good motivators? Pictures of people with fantastic figures? Lock on the refrigerator? Diary? This website is my last resort!

5 years ago, I too was a fast food junkie. For me it had to be cold turkey 6 days a week. On the seventh day, come hell or high water I got my junk. Still do it that way and it works. I think it is more of a mental game than physical. Eating 5-6 small meals a day WILL stop the contstant cravings and thus make it easier to keep driving by. Good luck!

Mosr fast food places have decent grilled chicken slalads, or switch to subway, they have some decent choices.

You need to build discipline. The first time you drive past the fast food restaurant and go home and eat a grilled chicken breast with a side of rice and vegetables, celebrate! Feel the pride of having conquered the crave! Then build on that.

Usually, uncontrolled eating is due to extreme hunger - you probably don't eat on a regular schedule and most likely, you don't eat enough. What is atypical days eating plan for you?

Another way to detour from fast food is to have a bar or shake in your car, or a cooler with your next scheduled meal in it. That way you have no reason to need fast food.

Fail to plan and you plan to fail.

Now stop telling yourself you like fast food and make a plan.
