I know the topic has been hit before....but I want to loose this 10 pds I gained since the October - (it's gotta go as I hate my clothes feeling tight) Yes, I'm working out and doing cardio - and will be INCREASING cardio as that is the way to go:big_smile: - I've tried Hydroxycut and I really didn't feel it helped me any...so, has anyone had any success with any of the 100 or so products on the market that help suppress hunger. And I swear, since I hit 46 - as they say.......you can look at a donut and gain weight just seeing it. I'm just short (5'3) and it all goes to the MIDDLE. UG! I hate it! So any good advice...cool beans!

Drink water LOTS and LOTS of water, keeps you feeling full so you don't get the evil munchies, and when you are Really hungry you will know and can eat then. Other than that I had some success with Dexatrim Natural, while it didn't stop me from getting hungry it made it so I got full after only eating bout half of what I normally would. GL with those 10#s!!!

I can’t say I recommend any apatite suppressants, try eating less calorie dense foods more regularly. However caffeine is the active ingredient in many "weight loss pills". Its a mild appetite suppressant, and the caffeine rush helps you burn up more calories than you would do normally. You don’t hear much about it because there is more money to be made in packaging it up in a new wonder pill. A hot cup of coffee also helps you feel full. Also the protein consumed in a meal plays a large role in how satisfying it is.

An appetite suppressent may not be what you are after. This can actually lead to gain in the long run. Small frequent, nutrient dense meals and exercise stimulate metabolism. This in fact will help you lose your weight, not appetite suppresants. These would just keep nutrients out of your body that are vitally needed, and your body will use lean tissue for its needs, thus increasing your fat to lean tissue ratio, so when you do eat again, you will gain weight at a rapid rate. Don't go for a short term fix, you will pay in the long run with added weight and less than optimal health to boot.:)
