Hi everyone.

My name is Mark, and I'm from Montreal, Canada.
Bio: 5'10, 125lbs (some women would kill to be my size   )

Anyway, I've finally decided to work out and get some muscle on these bones of mine. I have a crazy metabolism...I can eat 4 meals a day, snack in between and not gain a pound, god, not even one gram. I've been made fun of through out my life because of my "skinnyness" and I"m sure some of you guys know what I'm talking about. I'm sick and tired of hearing it and now I won't to prove to others and to myself that I can change the way I look and benefit from it seeing as I work in construction and it would also help me to prevent injury. So here I am, one skinny dude who's had enough, who needs to get in shape, who needs to follow this 12 week muscle mass gain program all the way through....it's time to get working.

I've completed day one and it was honestly not as easy as I thought. I almost said "screw it" half way through because I felt that I could not do it, but I've done that in the past and I get angry at myself when I do it, so I continued, and completed day one...and now...I am motivated.

Thanx for reading this and good luck to all of you, be it to lose fat or gain muscle, guys and girls alike.

Mark if it is too hard to finish, don't be afraid to lighten the weight, especially in the beginning. Nothing will stop you faster than injury. Build up to your goals slowly. Do some homework here on your diet. You may need to go to s meals a day but they have to be the right food for this all to work.

CONGRATULATE yourself on finishing the first one but really pat yourself on the back for doing it at all. Welcome to FT. Keep trying .

I agree with Charlie.. you made it through day one... half the battle... the other half was starting day one....! Way to go... you'll get to your goals... just keep trying.

And if you ever lose the motiviation, just let others on the board know... they'll whip you into shape!

Way to go, Mark! keep fighting the good fight and you will get results!
Add in Oatmeal, brown rice. beans, barley into your diet. make sure you consume enough protein.

Give us an idea of what you eat and we can help you gain. The truth is, most of the population are hardgainers, but it can be done!

i've been doing the muscle gain program for 2 weeks now and already see the results. the only thing is that certain exercises, such as can curls are becoming too easy, i'm thinking about increasing the weights i use but what would be a realistic weight.

i currently use weights of 5 lbs on each dumbell

Hi Everyone.

I've just completed Day 3 and all I can say is that it's HARD work. I almost didn't do my workout today because I got these cramps from something I ate, but I did my weights anyway and I feel great now. Really wasn't motivated today, but now I am. My arms arm and chest are starting to feel weird, but a good weird :) I drink so much water in between and after my workout, it's nuts! Well, time to go take a shower!!!
