============
Quoting from triciakent:
Yesterday for instance, I had 2 scoops of protein w/ water for breakfast (I didn't go to gym in am), at 7:30 AM.
Add some oatmeal at breakfast - you have nothing to sustain you until your next meal! Most people who tend to overeat late in the day are making up for uindereating in the mroning - the body gets what it wants one way or another!
Then at 9:00 AM I was starving (weel, yeah!)so had one can of tuna on 1/2 bagel. Add some veggies or an apple.
At 12:00 PM I had 1/2 cup cottage cheese w/ about 1/2 cup pineapple. Okay, maybe some wasa crisp.
When I got back from the gym at 2:30, I had two more scoops of whey protein in water, then at 4:00 PM I had the other 1/2 of my bagel w/ another can of tuna. Again, add some veggies or a salad with olive oil dressing.
When I got home from work at 6:30, I was starving,(well, yeah!) ended up eating 12 crackers, about about a handful of jelly beans plus dinner. ugh!! Increase your calories earlier in the day and you shouldn't be sooo hungry at dinner time.
Eat lots of fibrous veggies to fill you up, plenty of lean protein. String cheese is a nice, portable snack, so are hard-boiled eggs.
Look up the post 'some diets for example' it may help.

Asimmer, you beat me to sugesting the oatmeal, :angry:
You need more complex carbs. All you seem to eat will be digested very quickly leaving you hungry. Your profiles got your %bf but what about your weight? 1100 cal seems low for most people; this combined with what you said about been so hungry makes it sound like you are starving yourself, which will prevent fat loss.

Actually the 1100 was before I got home for dinner, I probably had 1800 yesterday. And I do eat oatmeal, but have had it everyday for a month and am so so so tired of it.

Either you aren't eatng high volume, low calorie-dense foods, you aren't eating enough, especially at breakfast, or you have boosted your metabolism 9or a combination of the above). Eat lean protein and fibrous veggies when you are hungry. 1,100 is not a lot of calories.

This morning I did go to the gym, did 30 minutes of cardio keeping my heart rate above 150. For breakfast at 7:30 I had my 2 scoops of whey protein w/ water and 1 tbsp flax seed. And it is only 9:00 AM and am starving so am eating my 1/2 cup cottage cheese w/ about 1/2 cup pineapple chunks!!

So since I've been trying to up my calories, I am finding myself MORE HUNGRY!! I don't understand that. Yesterday by 5:00 PM I was already at a 1,1000 calories and by the time I got home I was ravenous. When I don't eat as much, I'm not as hungry!! Anyone have the same reaction?

So have a veggie filled omelet. Or have a non-breakfast item for breakfast. Or a low carb tortilla filled with scrambled eggs and lowfat cheese, salsa and a side of apple slices. think outside the box and get creative.

Yes... one of my flaws..when it comes to diet, I always seem to stick w/ the same thing everyday.. which leads me to cheating... thanks for the advice.

lol, i remember i used to think a little to out of the box in high school, i ate hungry man dinners for brekfeast but then i had to use the bathroom by 2nd period, so that was a little bit of a stretch. i eat oatmeal now too, its great and if you mix in some protein powder you can barely taste it and it doesnt change the consistensy at all.
