Granted I've been doing step-aerobics video tapes that incorporate a little strength-training for about a year now, but I never considered it as strength-trianing as it wasn't really structured; I never measured arms, etc., never paid any attention to how I was looking muscle-wise.

I started with FT because I wanted to get serious about toning with weights and needed some structure and guidelines and since I've started I've asked several questions and received very helpful answers. Last night I finished my first week and decided just for giggles to see if I could see a bicep. Honestly, my shoulders are definitely more rounded, there is a distinct separation (diagonal "dip") between the shoulder and bicep, which is quite noticeable, and I'm standing with a straighter back:)

I really want to thank everyone at this site because you're all so helpful and friendly it's helped me feel "home" and that's going to help me stay with it.

I realize I'm probably on some kind of beginners pink-cloud, and that's fine - I'm loving it.
