I have a reason to celebrate!!

dfly411 Posts: 1,352 Joined: 2004/03/04	2004/04/16, 08:09 PM I just wanted to share my elation that the salon and spa passed all of it's code inspections today and I am going to make my May 1st opening as scheduled!! Tonight I am going to the Japanese Steak House to feast on sodium drenched food and then I am going to come home and do absolutely nothing more strenuous than lift an alcoholic beverage to my lips. Tomorrow I will be back at the site to once again subject myself to construction hell. But for tonight...CHEERS!!

dfly411 Posts: 1,352 Joined: 2004/03/04	2004/04/18, 07:42 AM Thanks everybody...it's pretty exciting for me as everyday I see this mass of steel framing and sheet rock emerging into my dream. I was panicking a couple of weeks ago when the plumbers called and told me that they had cut the three electrical feed lines (to the whole development no less)....I thought for sure that I wasn't going to make May 1st, but it looks like it is going to happen after all!! Hecdarec, I'll make sure you have the best executive manicure in existance... Jdelts, if you guys ever decide to visit Virginia, look me up and she can have our signature candlelight pedicure with rose petals in the water and I'll hook you up with a deep tissue massage with hot stone therapy!
