alright been workin out for about 2 and a half months and these past 3 weeks i started some sort of a little diet. also in these 3 weeks my weight training has changed. one i might go and do weights and be able to bench 120 for 8 to 9 reps and the next workout only be able to do 2-3 reps as in other exercises. could anyone tell me wats happening. i personally think its that im not eatin enoguh carbs.heres wat i ate on the day the reps were less:
6:35- two eggs and milk
9:20-bagel
10:55-chicken sandwich with amercian cheese
2:30-11 carrots and a glass of orange juice
""workout""
5:30-dinner

I'm not sure exactly what your questions is. The diet needs to be revamped, though. Breakfast is reasonable. The bagel's gotta get nixed for something worthwhile. The chicken sandwich is good, with the right bread, but I'd get rid of the cheese. Juice is generally best avoided... the fruit itself is good. Where's the post-workout nutrition?

well after workout i take a protein shake(gncs whey isolate 50grams per serving) my question is why do my reps go down the suddenly go way up like this:
workout 1-3reps of 110
workout 2-5reps 110
workout 3-5reps110
workout 4-12reps 110 so i go up to 120 after first set and do 7-8reps
workout5-3reps 120
i think its cause somedays i eat way to little carbs and dont hav much energy cause its hard to eat before workout for me because of school

Benching - we gave you better diet advice than that, you can't expect it to work if you don't use it.
-------------- If you fall down seven times, get up eight.

ya this was a problem i had 2 weeks ago and just wanted to know wat caused it. after that week i guesed it was carbs so i raised food and bak to normal. asimmer i know u did give me very good advice and this was a problem before your advice. and dieting to lose weight was not very smart so im switching to little more exercise. since then im currently doin 5to6 reps 140 which i think is pretty decent for working out at home with just a bench and 2 and 3/4 a month worth of working out

by the looks of it you just aren't taking on enough of what your body needs for the wokouts and then recovery. take a look at the diet and nutrition part of the site. and posh, why so sad?
