I am currently 6'1 and 150lbs, 25 years old. The ideal weight I would like to be at is about 180lbs. I know it will take a long time and a lot of hard work to reach this but I just need some advice on if I am eating enough of the right foods. I don't have a problem with getting tired of eating the same thing everyday so this is what I usually eat. For breakfast I have 3 hard boiled eggs, couple of hours later I have 1/2 cup oatmeal with 3 strawberries. For lunch I have two turkey sandwiches on whole wheat bread, I sometimes substitute a chicken salad sandwhich or tuna sandwhich. A couple hours later I have a cup of cottage cheese, 1/2 cup carrots, and a banana. Now dinner is where I slip a bit. I get home and workout about 6 and I might have another sandwhich or something. Before I go to bed I have a protein shake. I know this is alot of info but I'm confused as to my diet. any thoughts? Am I getting enough calories and protein? thx

no I don't think you get enough calories.
Have you done all the nutrition centre stuff and got an idea of how much calorie intake you should be getting daily. It also tells you the fat, protein, carb values to aim for? Do it and the diary for a couple of weeks and see how the food thing adds up for you- it does it auto pilot for ya once you've started...
Don't mean to be rude but you are skinny eh- so you burn up what you eat easily I think , no?
So you really could find yourself eating a lot more like maybe 3000+ to 4500+ calories (nutrition centre will tell ya)
So then the training thing is important- everytime you move you burn a calorie- about 4 per minute walking they say so for gaining weight with your fast tick over you should sit down and sleep alot on protein. cardio less(once a week), careful with weights, everyday would burn calories, 3 days and lots of rest... and lot's of food and more food.

good luck
