there is nothing to compare with the lift you get from the feel of a deck rolling under your feet. The Sawdust and Paint has been sitting alone in her slip since we started this renovation. I got to fire up the engines and take her out on Sundays beautiful afternoon. It was 83 degrees , not a cloud and life couldn't be improved on for those few hours.
The time of year effects everybody in a good way. We pulled into the local reataurant, tied off and got a table on the deck outside. A minute or two later a guy comes up and tells me he can't leave till I do. Oops. Seems I blocked his megahousboat in. Well I said I would move my baby and he said nah, go ahead and eat. we did introductions, had a nice lunch and chat and went on our way.
i love this time of year.

Hmmm, this type of weather means more running for me, lol. Gotta get into excellent shape, I want to get to where I can run like it's walking. I do enjoy being outside in nice weather, especially densly wooded area's where you won't see alot of people, just the normal animal's and peacefull quite of the creeking trees, spring gives a mystical quality to the woods that is very enjoyable.

Isn't the smell of backyard barbeques just heavenly after a long snowy winter? I am finally seeing all my neighbours again - hibernation is now officially over!!

I love walking the dog for hours through the neighborhoods checking out what flowers and landscaping everyone has/is doing, and making plans for the garden..
First more bulbs, then more perennials, then the annuals.. so I can have big BBQ parties in a lovely setting all summer long..
