I forgot where I posted it and cannot find it anywhere. Not by seaching for it or anything. I swear I went through everything too. Anyways my question is are bananas bad if you are on a diet because of the thermogenic something or other. I konw bb1fit said something about it in the past but I just don't understand if they are good or bad. The last post that I cannot find was in response to vivavegas02.

banans are kind of starchy and generally aren't a 'diet' food. But you could include them once or twice a week in the morning and see how that goes.

I used to be on a take off diet where they said to eat 2 oranges a day.
On the regular daily diet I could only have 1/2 a banana or a small apple each day, but that is all i know. Hope it helps a little.

apples, berries, grapefruit, most fruits are fine, in the mornings - to early afternoon. bananas are full of nutrients, but they are calorie dense and starchy, so most 'diets' cut them out. If you make sure you stay within your calorie amounts and macronutrient ratios, you can lose weight and still have fruit.

Ok I did not know they were calorie dense it makes sense now. My girlfiend was looking to lose a little bit of weight and she really likes bananas and she ate them because one can fill you up for a little while then she wouldn't eat anything else for awhile. I got her on the right track now though. Thanks ALL
