Hey E1,
Just wondering if any of you take a energy drink b4 workout,if its good for the body and if you do what kind you use and the price.

they are usually either full of sugar or 'thermogenic' substances. I occasionally use the ripped force energy drinks, but my favorite energy drink before a workout is COFFEE!

Yeah, asimmer is right. Most are at best loaded with caffine. If you must, a cappucino works well also!

And for some reason, my diet (though low in sugar) makes me very hyperactive. Any idea why that is, bbfit?

doesn't the caffeine dehydrate you and give you cotton mouth when working out?

In the summer I drink a Hanson's energy drink. Just for the taste and the carbs. Espresso works good also.
