Thanks Ivan for the advice.. Just a few more questions if you can answer them.. Can a person lose weight just eating mainly protein and vegetables all the time? Also, I'm walking on my treadmill as my basic cardio workout but I'm always telling myself to get my 30minutes done and I'll be through with no changes each day.. What can I do to challenge myself to make each time on my treadmill a better workout than the last? Probably a stupid question but.....I'm the type of person that's excited the first week and then fails every week after that... I know I can only motivate myself but I need some help, I feel like sometimes I'll never lose the weight and I'm destined to be a 200lb girl forever.. Any advice is appreciated.. Cynann

Cynann, you certainly will lose weight just eating Protein and Vegies if your excersising, but you may want to add some GOOD healthy fats in there as well, Flax seed oil, peanuts/almonds etc (I Love Peanuts 500gm-1kg a week Hmmm). For mixing up the treadmill cardio try adding a jog for 1 or 2 minutes every 2 minutes of your walk, ie walk for 2 minutes, then jog for 30sec/60sec or 2mins, then walk for 2 minutes, then jog for 30sec/60sec or 2mins. Maybe do that for the first 5 or 10 minutes, then walk the next 20 -25 mins. Next day do the same thing but add one extra jog in, each day add an extra jog or more as you see fit, then once fitness levels start getting better, walk for 1 min jog for 1 min, or even 30sec\60sec\2mins intervals, whatever you feel comfortable with, slowly increasing as you go, dont go too hard too soon. Thats how I got fit again. Also swimming is a great way to increase lung capacity(Fitness) and lose weight and is a change from the tready.
Hope this helps, some of the other guys here will have much better ideas though, so prob better off waiting for them and ignoring me.:big_smile::laugh:
