Glutamine helps with imunity and healing, creatine on the other hand volumizes the muscle with water giving you more endurance and that pumped look. I recomend that you take creatine 2 months on and 1 month off. And do the same with most any supplement. Glutamine does not directly affect gains.

Glutamine according to what I've been reading doe's much more than simply enhance imunity.Of interest to bodybuilders, among other things,it may improve recovery time, provide energy for intense work and interfere with cortisol, which is a cause of muscle breakdown. It dosen't show it's benifit right away like creatine but rather over time.It is an amino acid by the way.If you can get ur hands on a copy of Muscle & Fitness Jan 99 issue there is an article ther.

Welcome to ft! Have you already signed up? If not, you should and choose to target the chest. There are plenty of exercises to help build and define your chest.

It sounds like your routine isn't targeting the other muscle groups if you only see your biceps, triceps and lats growing. How long have you been training? The creatine WON'T help you grow! You'll grow by working out "correctly," incorporating a sound diet and getting plenty of rest. Creatine will help you recover and provide you with additional strength during your workout...but that's about it.

When you have a moment, fill out your profile and let us know your current training regimen and goals so that we can provide better advice in the future.

Good luck!

Excactly, thank you Rpacheco.
Creatine is not a wonder product that suddenly can make your muscles grow huge.
It's what YOU do when taking creatine that will give you the results.

well i use 2 train last year 4 bout 5 months but then i had a long break afta that. and ive jus recently started again (since start of january)

i do get a full body workout by the end of the week but my chest doesnt feel any stronger unlike other parts of my body.

oh yeah... 1 more thing.
as i have small amounts of body fat mostly over my chest, i was wonderin that shall i try 2 lose the fat by cadio and dieting b4 building muscle mass, or concentrate on building muscle and later lose the fat.

reply...

Both. Train often, take heavy, do moderate cardio, eat healthy (avoid too much fat) and you'll be fine before you even know it!

you should do cardio 2-3 times a week 20 min minimum maybe more. The total amount depends on your goals. Why do you feel uncomfortable with decline presses? They are a great exercise. You can start with Dumbells if you like or a light bar. I put a decline bench (used for sit ups) inside my squat rack so i have a safty if i fail.

i do my decline presses on a smith machine but it feels really uncomfortable. do u think decline presses will get rid of my flabby chest... i mean at the moment they look like small breasts, lol. how long till they begin 2 tone up and look like pecs... ( iwork out 5 times a week for 1h30 every session).

and last thing... ive finished my loading phase with creatine which was in college holidays. but now my college has started and im on maintainence phase which requires 2 5gram doses a day. and i workout after college so i was wonderin if u could gimme advice on wen 2 take the doses... is once in the morning and once after i workout convenient times???

Declines make your chest sage even more. Loading has been shown to not work any better than supplementing 3- 5 grams. The reason companies push for loading is for profit. Your body eliminates excess creatine through your kidney and liver.
Weight/resistance training is mandatory for weight loss. Working out uses up the stored energy used as fat in your body. So do work out in addition to cardio to lose weight!

zed it seems to me your probably using the wrong form on chest.

If you dont use the correct form you will use more of your back, shoulders, and tricepts.

Keep your back flat, feet flat on the ground, and bring the bar all the way down to your chest(not bouncing it off).

Also if you have access try to use dumbells. Do flys and incline press.

I used dumbells for about 6 months then moved over to the bench. It really helped me increase in strength.
