Well many of you know we recently moved and renovated a new place. .In the coarse of the the renovation, I designed a desk and credenza for my wife. I and a couple of my apprentices built them and I was so pleased I put a couple of photos in my gallery.
The wood on the desk top is birdseye maple and the credenza is ribbon striped maple. The inlayed wood is cherry and purpleheart. The woods are in there natural state...in other words, no stain. The purpleheart is literally the color of a grape popcycle and is extra neato because this particular piece had a rare quilted pattern in the grain. Hope you like.

Thanks all. Kyrah, she has a houseful of this stuff. She also supported me for 5 years getting the biz off the ground . Thats true love. Judging from her post, I think dfly and my buddy Hec are fixing to learn about true love.
