I think there is good news and bad news for you. The pill may have created some water retention, this you will probably lose quickly if you have it. However, the bad news is any true fat or adipose that you want to lose is not going to be a quick process. Exercise including resistance training, cardio and a diet 500 calories less than what you expend in energy (That will give you a pound loss per week). One-two pounds a week is safe and effective.

Michelle, just my 2 cents, please don't take this the wrong way, but you are useing some form of protection? Or are you just doing the old Selebesy in the Suburbs? (I am sure I miss spelled that) Actualy, lol none of my buiseness, however, I would assume, loosing post-pregnancy weight is harder than shedding those few extra pounds that the pill/Depo adds, and they you have this little kid running around, though I can see how kids could help you loose weight... all that energy.

Well, i was on birthcontrol because i had really strict, conseravative parents. They thought that just because i was dating meant i was having sex. I am not saying that i havent before, but i am not having sex. I have decided to wait until marriage, call it lame or whatever, but that's my personal decision. I'm not taking it the wrong way, i understand and agree with you that pregnancy weight would be really hard to lose!! But, thanks for your concern! :)

It takes time to gain weight (we just don't realize it before it's too late) so it takes time to loose the fat (something we DO realize!)
Avoid taking hormones (birth control) if you don't need it. It's messing with the body and you'll have to do that later anyway.
Follow a diet, drink a lot of water, do some cardio and weight training and you'll be able to sculpt the body as you want it. Good luck!
