I've been taking Creatine for 3 months straight now, 2 months of the GNC Creadrive crap (literally tastes like it) then purchased Cell-Tech for the current bottle I have now. My question is, should I cycle off for a month? Or longer? I've heard Creatine is best to cycle on and off of, but I am unsure of the intervals. My workout regime is currently intense, I'm trying to gain mass (and I am), if that helps. Thanks for the input..

generally it is good to cycle on creatine for 4 - 6 weeks then off for 1 - 2 weeks. keep in mind, new studies are coming out that say that it is not necessary to cycle creatine and that a steady matinence dosage is very effective with a loading phase every 6 weeks or so

Hmm, so you are suggesting about 1 month on, half month off. I realize there are studies; however, anyone have any personal experience I could listen to, then ponder on? I just don't think I should stay on any longer. I'll probably take a month off and start a 1 month on, 1 month off cycle.

I can go a few months without coming off creatine, then go off it for a month, due to low funds, and I don't lose any muscle or strength, and I can continue to gain without it.

Both staying on, or doing what i do, or what big_j said will all help you build muscle and gain strength. thats what creatine does, so as long as you have a sufficient amount (not too little and definatly not too much) of it in your system you will be fine. if anything, just play around and see what works best for you. i like the month on and half a month off becuase it gives me lots of time to stay on it for continual effects while staying off enough to make sure my body gets rid of it completely before starting up again.
