i need an opinion from all of you members out there who are much more educated on this topic than i am...

i want to add an mrp to my diet, namely lean body, but what is this "for her" business? i actually asked the folks at labrada about this but i feel like i got an answer that was just trying to sell me their product. are women better off using the mrps labeled "for her" or can i stick with using straight up lean body?

i compared the nutrition labels and for the most part, i think the only difference is the serving size. the ingredient list is almost identical. i could be wrong in assuming this, but i get the feeling that most supplements with this on the tag aren't catering to women who want to get ripped and hang with the big boys in the gym.

and one more thing - both have aspartame in them. are there more ill effects to aspartame than a bad aftertaste?

howdiekat - the for her types usually have less calories, less carbs and/or less protein. And sometimes they cost more, hmmm.

You train hard enough and have enough mass that you can use a big boy MRP:big_smile:

Aspartame is debatable, many claim it has adverse side effects, personally i can't stand the aftertaste.

If you can't stand the aftertaste of aspartame, try eating an Atkins Bar :angry: OMG!!! Chemicals!!! In my throat...choke choke choke. That is all you can taste!! LOL..Ok, so I'm being a little silly, but gosh those things are gross

Yeahm i don't eat those... tri=o=plex bars are the bomb, though, and you need carbs.

thanks for your input asimmer. i know i can always count on you for a knowledgeable response!

after thinking about it i decided to go totally away from lean body just because of the aspartame. the aftertaste really does sick me out, so i think i'm going with isopure instead.

and these tri=o=plex bars that are such the bomb...what flavor and where do you get them??
