OK, I'm a little confused. I've been trying hard to eat healthy and have been doing pretty well if I say so myself. However, I was reading an article in Men's Health that featured The Rock. Now I'm nowhere near the size of the Rock (184 lbs., 16% bodyfat),but I was wondering about his diet. For example, he eats 10 egg whites for breakfast. If I eat a bowl of Grape-Nuts that's equal to the same amount of protein grams as all these egg whites (once again, for example) am I receiving the same quality of protein or do I need to focus on something other than the number of protein, carb, and fat grams I consume? I realize that there are such a thing as good and bad grams, but how do I need to tailor my eating regimine to meet my needs?

your nutrition centre profile info will give you a result as a guide to the calorie/fat/protein/carb range you should be attempting to get to... fill in the nutrition diary here too. Because it will give you an up to date profile of if you are close to your targets. Protein and all nutrients are best from your natural food. Powders and potions should be a 'supplement' to your diet and not instead of. bbfit has a good grocery list on here(fitbuddy search) and I would start with a good 'basics' shopping spree once you have agreed your diet principles. As food goes though what do you prefer for breakfast, 10 whites sorted into nice pancakes or summat, or a bowlful of grape nuts and have you got time to eat them all, which will be enjoyed? I think protein should come from a well mixed variety of mainly fish or fowl, soya and meat with powders to make up the number(check out carb/sugar values). I reckon you know all the answers and do have a grip on what your at food wise. Prove it to yourself by using the diary for a month and tweak the bits that aint that accurate a touch.
