I have about 6-7% bodyfat and am trying to gain muscle mass. I would also like to keep my bf as low as possible. Does cardio decrease muscle gains? I have seen SO MANY articles arguing back and forth on this subject. Can anybody give me the straight truth...is cardio bad for muscle growth?

its not bad from what ive heard but if u do more than 25 min or something it begins to use more protein and then u have less energy to build muscle

i don't think it's cardio so much that hurts muscle gains as having low bodyfat. If you don't want to gain fat, it is difficult to get the calories needed to build muscle.

I have some good news! I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Gieco!

check out BB1's post on the general weight training and fitness. It's posted at the top with a thumbtack icon thing. It should answer all questions.
