THing is abotu adding weight, and adding weight that fast your gonna put on some body fat. Regardless, no matter what when you gain muscle, you will gain some body fat unfortunally.
What I would do, and correct me if i'm wrong everyone........is mass up/ gain weight for about 2 months( off season)focaus on strength and power and size. Then 6 weeks or so before season starts, cut back on the calories, do lots of cardio and work on speed, football is more about speed than strength. The faste ryou try to add weight, the more body fat will accumlate. Good luck let me know if You need help, and i'm sure others will help you as well . :dumbbell:

im also 15 yrs old in football im 5/11 168 lbs. i am a starting varsity linebacker and take it from experience those extra pounds of muscle do help. if u just wanna gain weight try to gain as much of it from muscle and not fat cause its just gonna slow you down( and u know u gotta be fast to catch those rbs). start weight training and and try not to do excessive cardio. hell wat high school u play for?
