Is Smart Choice popcorn as good as it claims. It says it uses no hydrogenated oils, and uses a proper balance of fats to lower cholesterol.

Also, is popcorn too high in carbs to eat on a diet?

well why are we not popping our own corn kernels. Fresh when you want it. Not this stuff in a bag at twice the cost. You can make it using olive oil, peanut oil, no oil, in a pot, in a microwave and then the more unfriendly diet versions with sugar, salt, honey...
But what harm can you seriously do with a bit of popping corn? I think none.

You can do damage with popcorn if you eat to much of it. If my mother had her choice of foods to be stuck with on an island it would be popcorn. It is nothing for her to sit down with 2 bags of the stuff and eat them both. I think that most people see popcorn as a free food and eat as much of it as they want, when they want. And even if it is something as "healthy" as popcorn, over eating is deffinately not healthy. just my thoughts on it. :)
