Have a Marvelous Mother's Day!
I'm off this morning for a drive to Chi-town to spend the weekend with my daughter and my own mum, so my wishes come a day early.
May you all enjoy your day tomorrow and be appreciated for the mommy stuff you do.

Hey - thanks Danielle!
We ate out for breakfast, did some yard work and went shopping for a comfortable lounger for the backyard (ahh, summer).
Margaritas were involved!
Hope everyone had a good one!

Even though our daughter is in an open adoption, my husband still makes Mother's Day a huge deal. He took me up to a lake for hiking and fishing with a picnic lunch, and then took me to the famous "Calamity Janes" for huge burgers after our hike. The way home, all we did was laugh about everything. Not only was it a fantastic Mother's Day, it was just a wonderful day to be alive!!
