I'm currently 6'1 and around 170-175. I'm just starting to workout and had a question on how to keep my weight. I'm happy with my current weight, but from what I understand, I need to fix my diet (high protein, low cal, etc) and exercise to get rid of the fat I still have. So, my question is, if I do this will I lose weight, but be more fit, or will I gain muscle as I lose fat and keep close to my current weight?

More than lily unless your on steriods, your not gonna build much muscle and loose body fat at the same time. If you cut calories, you will lose weight, and you will not gain much strength nor build any muscle. You can work out with maintance calories to stay at the same weight......you might lose a lil body fat from the addition of muscle, but not much.
Lose fat.......low calories......2500 calories eaten...3000 used in a day
Gain weight ........3000 calories eaten....2500 used
Maintance......2500in 2500 used :dumbbell:
