Did I just misread the grocery list, or is there no pork on there. Just wondering why. It's my favorite and we eat it a few times a week. I eat less red meat.

Pork is higher in fat than most red meats. Red meat is not bad for you.

Yep....the pork industry has done a great marketing job with the "other white meat" series, but fail to inform the public that the similarities to chicken stop at the color of the meat.

Don't get me wrong. I like beef, just don't eat as much of it as pork. We buy pork from a local farmer who sells under-market weight animals, so they tend to be leaner than what you buy in the store.
I just prefer pork to beef, but have definately increased my beef consumption in the last few months.
