i'm vegetarian. yes it is normal. you haveta talk to your doctor about meal planning and stuff cuz you could really screw your body over if you dont eat proper (gotta have tofu/soy/nuts....very important)
i used to be around 130 most of the time pre-veg. now i stay around 124. you will drop a few pounds (it depends on how much red meat/fried food you were eating beforehand as well). i started eating healthier as well when i switched over (more veggies less fried food).

Now what do you know?! :)
Yes I'm one!
You are always risking to loose weight when you change your diet. It takes a little time to the body to adjust.
What's your goal? Why did you become vegetarien?

Hi
I am a Veggie too, and was interested to read Jask saying to speak to your doctor, i have been one for 6months and have never consulted my doc.. ! I do take Multi vitamins, and also have a pretty healthy diet(i think)Maybe not eating enuff proteins and that, but feel ok in myself. !
Do u think i should speak to my doc, or just listen to the advice on here.. ! Desparate to loose a little more weight even tho i am not overweight. !
Anyone have any advice for me..?

eat oatmeal in the morning. By itself it has pretty good protien, and you can also add your powder to it after its cooked and get more protien that way too!!

When I need fast proteins I grap a protein shake with water and eat a big plate of veggies to fill me up.
Don't forget to eat enough good fat as well!

Oh by the way, not much protein can be found in any fruits or veggies (but soy).
You can do a search on every nutriment at: http://www.nutritiondata.com/nutrient-search.html
