CHARLIE, I am so annoyed with you!

I just filled up with OPI nail polish in the shade of "I'm not really a waitress" and now my car won't start!

Hihgness, for your car, you must cut it with 1 gallon of Guinness Stout and a quart of Rogaine. Careful though, your door handles will grow hair.

$2 a gallon. I wish I could get gas for $2 a gallon. Right now gas where I live is at $2.49 a gallon. We stopped drinking soda just to save money for gas! It's rediculous!!!

Driving a suburban from Michigan to Florida the day after tomorrow, and back on Sunday.

2400 miles @ 13 mpg * $2.05.9 = $381

Still cheaper than 4 plane tickets. But definitely not what my original trip budget said back when gas was $1.57... that's an extra $100 bucks.

great list but it still rotts about the gas prices. I only run 93 octane in the jeep because of performance upgrades. I cant afford to fill it anymore lol

The difference between gas prices has hit my wallet with maybe a $5 difference every week. I pay now, about 25 to fill tank, instead of the twenty I usually pay. No biggie.

In Canada, we make the crap... in fact, the province I live in has most of it... Alberta... where I pay 88.9 cents per litre... a little research tells me there are about 3.783 litres per US gallon... (if the website I found is correct)... some quick math... here in Alberta... where oil and gas wells are within a stones throw away I am paying about $3.35 per US gallon... of course, that is Canadian... we pay $2.45 per U.S. gallon... which is about on par with what you pay in the States... just doesn't seem right since we make it here... go figure...

No matter what ill concieved justification is thrown at us, it's nothing more than brutal greed. My understanding is that it's illegal to monopolize or corner a market but isn't that exactly what's going on with gas, it's not like I can drive down the street to get a better bargain. Both Canada and US can produce their own gas, but I believe they make more exporting it and they import the gas we buy for much cheaper, I could be wrong but I believe that's the current practise. I can remenber complaining about paying 65 cents a litre and that was less than a year ago.

It's sad when I think about gas and say I would be happy if it was back down to $2.19 a gallon. :(

What they need to do, is make roller skates legal on the highways, then we would save on gas, and we would all be fit and trim!!

What gets me is that the car companies come ut with bigger vehicles every year and every day i see nearly every SUV with just the driver in it.
Then some guy on the radio is bitching about sharing the road with bicyclists!
Car Pool, people, ride your bike and walk where you can. Gas prices are probably going to be higher soon, and will stay up for quite a while, I am sure.

I am going to drink a gallon of Guinness and swagger to work!

I ran out of gas today on the way to work. I tried to get every pennies worth. I asked a guy to help me push my car and he said "no" and kept driving. I finally was able to get a nice man to help me. I filled up a one gallon gas can and put it in the car. Just enough to get me to the gas station. I then filled up and it cost me 30.00. I hate gas.

The metaphor would be the money thing for me. I am not quite wealthy, just the same as Splenda is not quite sugar.

Drive around for 3 weeks there. . . then from IL/WI border to Baltimore, MD to catch a flight to Turkey. . . anyone know what gas prices are there? <aprox. 3k miles> LOL anyways have a TransAm so can only run 91 octane or higher. . . I'm gonna be SO broke. . . Gonna go cry now. .

$2.01 in orlando florida, cheepest place I've spotted $1.92. Damn ! that sucks in my opinion. Just around a year ago or so , the cheepest gas I saw for unleaded was $0.81 cents a dream come true, cheeper than a bag of sour patches.
