Hi,
I'm new to this website but I love all the great advice given on the different boards.
My problem is that I workout 4-5 times a week, both aerobics classes and weights. I've been doing this for over 3 months now and have not seen much results. I know that my diet is an issue since I love to eat. But in general I eat well just to much i think. Can someone one help me figure out what im doing wrong with my eating?

Here's an example of what I would eat during the day:
Breakfast:2 whole wheat toasts with PB
Snack:a fruit or a veggie
Lunch: bowl of soup and/or sandwich
Supper: chicken/steak/fish, a potatoe or rice and a veggie
Snack: fruit/veggie crackers and cheese(my biggest weakness)

can someone help me? :(

First, fill out your profile - we know next to nothing about you.

Next - weights and aerobics classes both every day?

Diet is 80-90% of the battle to lose weight - exercise is important, but you can get bigger and stronger and not lose fat if you aren't eating right.

More protein, less crackers.

Yes, crackers are a weakness for me too. All I have to do is read the side of the box, and my desire for them fades. Most of them are full o' trans fats. I have sworn off all trans fat. I'll miss the oreos the most.

Hey! I just joined today so I really can't offer much help in what you shoul eat but I too have spent months in the gym not losing a pound. I do have more energy but I know food is a weakness. I too use the fact that what I eat is healthy as an excuse to eat more. I love to cook and that leads to eating....I have every bit of confidence that we both will benefit from the web site...That is why we signed up right...? TEWSWEET

I have a problem with just eating too much. I get cravings all the time. I believe this is my past lifestyle coming back to haunt me. I just drink a lot of water, or pinch the inside of my ear. It is the accupuncture spot to suppress appetite. It takes a lot of self-control, but being overweight is too easy. I'm over it.
