Im having a hard time gaining weight right now I am about 101 lbs and I want to gain 15 to 20 pounds!! Because I am way underweight, I was just wondering how many calories I should get in a day to put on weight and if there is anything that will increase my appetite out there??
Hey there, I'm in the same boat as you. Could never drink all those weight-gainer drinks because you have to drink SO MUCH, but found that Ensure Plus (or Boost Plus) is a nice easy 8oz to drink for 350 calories each!
I just started about a week ago and find it pretty easy to drink a bunch of them a day (AND DURING THE NIGHT) as well as eating more often during the day.
They say that 500 calories above your normal daily intake will put on 1 pound a week. Me, I've DOUBLED my calorie intake to 3500-4000 daily (and I am NOT a big eater)
