Hey all how you doing. I was putting in my nutritional plan and it says that per day I should have the following intakes.

Protein - 200g
Carbohydrates - 500g
Fats - 38g
Total Calories 3108

Now because I am new to this im not sure what food etc would be good, so I was wondering would any body be able to tell me a good diet that I could use. I would also need to know where I could get the foods and how much it is likly to cost me. Thanks yo anyone who helps me

There is a great post from bb1 called Grocer List For A Bodybuilder... lots of great food suggestions there... I believe it's in the Diet and Nutrition board....

That is just general intake that they give, but it is different for everyone. What you are supposed to do is get your base caloric intake and adjust it from there. You need to log everything that you eat for a week and from that, figure out how many calories that you are getting now, and then you can see what you need to do from there, if you are way under the numbers that they are giving you, you will have a lot of trouble doubling your intake, so you will just increase it over a few weeks to months.

TimDay is correct though. bb1 did post a grocery list that is pretty good. http://www.freetrainers.com/FT/jsp/pro/Message.jsp?f_ix=3&t_ix=1404

that is a link to the exact board.
