Does anyone get a very sharp pain just below the elbow, it runs alone the vein at the back of the forarm?? It happens when I do dips or tricep exercises, it feels like the vein it self..is it a nerve?? any ideas??

I'm not sure. I used to get weird pain all the time when I started working out. When I used to do dips, my palms hurt, as if a nail was going through them. Not sure what it was, it just went away one day. I can't really recommend doing anything except fighting through it if it is something that is tolerable.

I got the exact same thing when I did dips in my right hand. It must be nerve, it was unbearable. I now use a wrist wrap around that one hand and my glove over top as well and it works just great.

It is absolutely the nerve bundle probably in your elbow connected through your forearm. Pinched nerves are very common in the lower arm area for weightlifters, or anywhere in the body for that matter.
