Hi Im a 25yr vegetarian female. I THINK my diet is healthy, but i do not seem to be losing ANY weight.. ! If someone can look and give me tips on how i can change it i would be soooooooo gratefull!!! I am not overweight, just a little bulge round the usual areas.. tummy, butt, and thighs.! Im a middle size 10-12..! I go to the gym 5days a week, cardio only as i didnt wana bulk up, but reading some of these great posts, i will try weights too..!
but my diet consists of
Breakie - fruit
usualy strawberries and oranges

Lunch typically some sort of veggie soup and 2 slices of bread n butter.. ( iknow butter bad, but also yummy)

Dinner either pasta with veggies or rice, etc..
(people say thats why i dont seem to lose any weight but carbs give energy, and after the gym thats what i need, any suggestions on alternatives, shall i cut out carbs a bit more.. ! Please dont say bread tho ...

I do still eat fish altho only once twice a week, love soy milk.. But dont get it daily..
I think i lack protein, but would that stop weightloss..?

of course i eat choccy sometimes at weekends and other goodies that i dont normally during the week.. I adore my food and have always allowed myself to eat what i wanted when i wanted..but i guess now im getting older(Arrghh)

Anyway if anyone has any tips or pointers or knows the secrets to everlasting slimness haha

Lift weights and eat more protein. See the post in the women's forum titled bulking vs toning (it is a sticky).

Instant mesage Philia - she is a vegetarian and in fantastic shape.
