I just wanted to share with everyone because I am soooo excited, this is such a great day!
We went to the Credit Union today and inquired about getting a mortgage and selling our house. We have been thinking we are stuck here because we are in debt management and figured we would have to sell, pay off debts, then stay with family while we looked. The loan officer got us approved and out credit is actually starting to look better!
What a weight off our shoulders - we have had problems with two neighbors the entire time we have lived here and it has really negatively affected all of us.
Yeah!!!!! New home, new neighbors and less stress!!! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!!

Congrats asimmer, and let me know if I need to take a trip and take care of some unruly neighbors.

If I didn't think they would trace it to me because of the police involvement in the past, i would have hired someone long ago, I like my house and most of the neighborhood.
But we are free now!!!!!! I am sure we will find another house that we love even more and have new neighbors that we either get along with or don't know at all!

I hope that you find the "perfect" house!! My hubs and I are daydreaming about a house in the near future, but honestly I think we will live in an apartment forever :( I hope you get neighbors that like to have picnics and bbq'a and all that fun stuff. I just hope you have a great new life!!!

Great news Amy. Are you leaving the city altogether, or just changing neighborhoods?

Not sure yet - we have considered a hobbie farm, but I don't know what I would do about my training business then. Maybe start a fitness camp at the hobby farm, who knows? But then again, I am a born and raised city girl and even living where we do on the edge of the city is less urban than I am used to. I love being able to walk to the corner store, or walk uptown, or hop a bus downtown, bike anywhere.
Manhattan was awesome, but we aren't moving there....
I don't know - lots of big decisions to make this summer. Yay!

Hey veda - yesterday we drove around looking at neighborhoods and houses. I am sick, so I am not very enthusiastic right now.
I know we will find one that is right... just takes time.
