Just an advice to you all;
Often we think that we need to do hours weekly of long boring cardio training to be able to loose weight, but that's not always the case.
We could all be sooooo much more active in daily life and burning a lot more calories by doing things we enjoy and/or have to do anyway.
Try to be more active while showering; massage, scrub and pamper yourself.
-Do hide the remote control and if you feel like eating cookies, leave them in the kitchen and go and get one by one.
-Do your cleaning by playing and doing interval training; change from vacuum cleaning, dust cleaning, go out with the trash etc
Everything adds up in the end and the missing 30mins on the treadmill wasn't that terrible after all... :)
HAVE FUN is the key for more calorie burning and you'll be surprised when you see the number of the scale drop. :)

I've had times when I've been struggling to fit in a cardio session and suddenly remembered that I played 18 holes of golf that morning! I keep having to remind myself that even if your not gasping for breath and sweating buckets, you can still burn calories.

Great post. I am a waitress so my job keeps me pretty active. I forget that at times when I get down on myself about not doing enough cardio.:)

I'm right now on a very strict diet and I really haven't had time (or energy! :surprised: ) to do all the cardio I wanted to. Still I have lost 8lbs in 2 weeks.
Okey the diet is VERY strict (proteins+veggies and prot shakes all day long!) but I've been trying to MOVE a LOT more in everything I do.
It doesn't really feel like cardio but it is and it still gives results.
My diet is now making me a little bit tired so instead of over training I keep my energy for weight lifting. :dumbbell:
