I'm pretty new to this site...but I've been reading the forums and the support here is awesome. I am trying the Body-for-Life plan and it recommends that I use protien bars and shakes. I want to loose weight and be more cut...I was wondering if these products will make the difference along wit my diet and workout plan. I think there pretty expensive...will the generic brand do me justice...one last thing...does anyone have a recipes for protien bars. I tried one before that called for choc. pro powder, honey, peanut butter, and oatmeal...they tasted great and were very high in protien and one batch lasted about a week very inexpensive...but I do not remember the amounts.

serach fit buddy for protein bars I know there was a recipe posted a while back.

It is cheaper to buy a big conatainer of protein and a big container of maltodextrin and a bag of dextrose and make your own post-workout shakes than to buy myoplex.
It is more beneficial to your body/goals to eat whole foods if you have the time, lean protein and vegetables.

I will look for the bar recipe and bump it if I find it.
