I had a major breast cancer scare last week and found out yesterday that every is fine, no cancer.

I want to take this opportunity to remind my dear friends here to call and schedule your yearly exam and then keep your appointment. When you put down the phone after making your appointment, turn to the woman closest to you and remind her to schedule her exam. Don't be too shy to teach your daughters how and when to examine their breasts, young women are frequently too embarassed to ask for help or think that breast cancer is just for older women.

When we help to remind each other and educate others, we are saving our own lives.

My mother just had a similar experience 0 they said something looked odd and did a big biopsy and it was very scary. Turned out to be calcium deposits or something, but , yikes!

Thanks, Anni! It is important that we take care of ourselves!
Gald to hear everything turned out okay!

Missed you around here!

So glad to hear you got the all-clear Anni.

Breast cancer is so much more prevalent than people realize, and catching it early is so important. It runs in my family on both sides, and has started as early as 20's for some..

I'm doing a 3-day walk for Breast Cancer in August.. 60 miles. It is truly amazing the advancements they've made in treating and preventing this disease. If anyone is interested in the walk see my profile :)
