I am trying to lose weight and it's working, of course I have much, much more than you, but as I've read here and implemented, I am doing the weights in the morning and my cardio in the afternoon/evening. In my case where I have more weight to lose it is imperative that I combine right now, as I have plenty of fat so my body won't freak out and start eating at my muscle. I would suggest, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, working those muscles with continued weight training, as they will burn more fat as long as you are getting the nutrients your body requires. I know from years ago, when I weight trained and was in great shape, that was all it took for me to get rid of excess, I just worked the weights and it came off. You may want to add cardio like 3 times a week for 30-45 minutes otherwise. Maybe you could eat those three meals a day (my hubby is a mechanic, but he is ALWAYS eating), but keep just a protein drink or something within reach for another 2-3 meals, that should help, I know it is hard to work on cars and try to munch on a carrot, (I've worked on cars throughout my life and before I was married owned hotrods and did all my own work - Challengers, Roadrunners, SS Camero's, '67 Satellite, TransAm's, Firebird's and other Camero's) and can't imagine being able to eat anything until wash-up time, which can be a long stretch sometimes, so keep some drinks available to keep the nutrients coming!

Good luck, hope I've helped.
