i am 17yr old male runningback, i have been lifting for more then 2 years now. earlier this year i suffered an injury during the season which broke my ankle and left doing nothing for 3 months. but the bone is recovered now and ive been working out since. but i used to weight 185 now i weigh 160 and can't seem to gain any weight, ive thought about andro or steroids but i dunno if i should, also i am having trouble getting my strength back especially in my left leg at my calf and thigh what should i do?

i work out everyday, i drink whey protein once in the morning once at night, i each as healthy as possiable alot of meat and carbs

For one there is no need to post this twice LOl we will answer to our best abilities. As for your question hard work the right diet and just never giving up will do the trick. I do not think there is one quick thing you can do....what is your diet and workouts like?

everyday? or certain days? An athlete shoudl not train nor more than 4 days a week, preferible 3 days a week....
I say work out 3 days( weights) and pick 2 other days to do plyoetrics, running, sprints, and other drills football players do.........football is morew abotu spped than size really. They can't hit what they can't catch.

also don't do steriods or andro both are illegal now, and ar eillegal in highschool and if found out could ruin you for life, no point in cheating to get ahead, hard work pays off.

so what should i take for supplements, i heard about something called Z-ma or something , i dunno any suggestions?

There is a great thread on ZMA in the supplements forum. It is a sticky at the top of the page. It appears to be a good supplement, but before you take anything research it and make an educated decision.

take a multi vitaman andmaybe some whey protein..........maybe some creatine off season to help with gaining muscle,I would stop during season concidering it will/could dehydrate ya on the field.
