ok i go to my gym at least 5-6 days a week, but i am wondering if i am pushing myself too hard, or not enough. my friend and i jog a mile and a half then we do lower body one day then upper the next. I am never sore anymore and i am not seeing the results i want. i just gain wieght when i skip a few days. I need to build a little endurance, i have to go to basic training on july 26....

I would suggest doing your weight lifting before you run, that might help a bit.

Yepper, that is what they told me and it is working much better.

You may want to check to make sure your heart rate is within the percentage range allocated for your activity levels and keep it there your entire cardio except warm up and cool down. You may need to your bump up your percentages if your body is conditioned and needs more workout. If your heart rate is too much, your results will be a loss in lean muscle if anything, though you are not sore and that is often a symptom of pushing too much, if it is too little you are not getting enough of a cardio to see any difference. It may be time to up the amount of weight you are lifting, but again, lifting before is best they say.

Woodie is right on about the kind folk at basic. You don't say if you lift heavy. Add some weight and you'll see results. After day 1 at boot camp, tell your drill instructor it was easier than what you are use to. They will really help you out.
