Im wondering if it's better to complete a full area before going on to another, or if I should do one set of each exercise?

Im on week 1 so will I do 4 sets of pushups and then go onto side lats? Or do one set of pushups, one set of side lats, etc? If I do the full 4 sets before moving on, how long a rest in between sets do you have?

Thanks for any help,
Donna

When you are new to working out it doesn't really matter. As you advance and are able it will be better to finish each set.

Depending on what you are trying to do rest is usually 45 seconds to a minute. The heavier you lift the longer you rest. If you do higher reps with lighter reps you will burn more calories the shorter you keep the rest period. Lower reps and higher weight folks rest as much as 3 or 4 minutes between sets.
