It has finally happened. This morning, my hubs said that he wants us to both be eating healthy, and working out!! Yay!!! I have been keeping mac&cheese in the house, along with lost of other stuff that we shouldn't be eating, because I knew he would complain about having it taken away. Now I have to go ahead to change more things in our diet, and he set up a profile here on FT!! I printed out his workout for him today, and tonight we will go lift weights together. I am sooooo excited!!!

I finally convinced my wife to start too... despite the fact she says she doesn't like, I think she really does...

Convincing spouses' to work out is like herding cats.

Should I ask our kitty if she wants to work out too?? Princess...I don't think having my hubs talk to yours would do any good...mine hasn't gotten hooked yet or anything, so I don't think he would be very convincing. Ever told your hubs that couples who work out together tend to have more sex?? Should see what kind of a response that one gets(need the wink smiley right here)

Conspiring women!! Always holding sex over the mans head. I swear, I ain't ever gettin' married. There's just something about a monotonous, I mean, monogomous relationship that doesn't sound appetizing. Maybe it's just me? Or my inability to settle down? Forget what I just said. Marriage is cool. Working out with a hot girlfriend would be pretty cool. Then the weighted dip thing would have to be in full effect.

That is a great accomplishment, Cristalbelle! My hubby is still cryin' in his Mountain Dew about working out with me, he said it is "too hard!" and that he doesn't "like the pain"!

Enjoy, I think that is the ultimate, when you have someone near and dear to work out with and support you and the eating healthier is easier when they are doing the same - tonight my husband broke out the cheesecake truffle cake again - it was all I could do not to truffle him on the spot, I grabbed an apple instead.

Have fun!

That's just not right. If I had that kind of temptation, I might slip off the wagon. My hat's off to you Veda, you have shown an excellent display of self-control.

Veda my OH bought home a dozen donuts on Friday. Talk about shoving it in your face, and he had the gall to ask me why I was having cereal at 9pm. To forget about the bloody donuts! I was good though, only had one and threw it away after the second bite.
He's the one saying I should do something about my weight and telling me to go "for a ride". Grr!

Nope. I used to do that all the time when I had a girlfriend. She thought it was cheating, she would throw the whole "don't covey thy neighbors goods" in my face, but the neighbors goods were VERY good.... so I had to covet them, or something like that. I think it's good for you. A little harmless fun, and it isn't but a fraction of the calories.
