7707mutt Posts: 7,686 Joined: 2002/06/18	2004/06/23, 06:52 PM Well I am here at waiting for a sale order to come in. My car broke this afternoon while I was at the doctors office. My brother-in-law who is a mechanic says it is the alternator. On my car a countour it is abotu 600$. WHere the f!@k and I going to find 600? I can barely put 20$ in gas in my cars to go to the shit hole of a job. Before you all start the " find a different job" bit I can not. I mean if the right one came about I would but I need to have a certain level of money and benefits before I can leave. I am so depressed as I sit here I am still 1000$ short of my goal which means tomorrow I can and most likly get fired. I hate this place yet can not leave it. Nice huh?:( -------------- LIFT HEAVY! I do all my own mechanic work and if I'm short on cash, I have found a good used one as they will test them for you first to make sure they are good. If you don't do your own work, maybe you could find a friend that could? Ask your bro-in-law to help you out and show you how to change it yourself.
