Anyone in here tried taebo before? Just wondered what everyone thought of it.

I have the 4 tape box set...Tried it tired after 20 minutes, not impressed....Personally I dont like flying all over my living room and doing roundhouse kicks...If you got plenty of space sure go ahead but I would much rather be jumping rope or swimming for forms of cardio.

I thought it was pretty good. It kicked my butt the first few times and then I got a little bored with it. Since it is warmer outside I am running for my cardio but plan to use the tapes again in the winter.
Good Luck!

I did tae-bo twice a day for about 5 months. Like goldengloves, I wasn't overly impressed. It felt like I got a good workout- you know, I was tired and broke a good sweat, but I never saw any results. Now I've joined a gym and am much happier with my progress after only 7 weeks!

I have tried Tae Bo and like most video's, I bore easily. I was going to begin doing it a few times a week with some others here, but it kind of fizzled out I guess, instead I have taken a lot of the "moves" and incorporated them into some of my boxing bag workout, I enjoy that much better as it feels more like I'm accomplishing something and it feels better hitting something!

I've been doing Tae-bo for about the last 2 weeks or so. I am doing it 5 times a week. I also do ab workouts, leg workouts, and weight lifting throughout the week. Personally, I really like doing Tae-bo. So far it has kept my interest and I actually dont mind doing it. I am a small girl for my age and dont have much muscle, and the kickboxing makes me feel powerful.

why don't you try taking real boxing and kickboxing lessons? I mean, it adds a lot more challenge, a lot more resistance and by the end of the hour you'll feel like you've spent two hours on taebo. Plus, you're learning the real form, and you can actually make it into a sport :)

I can't take kickboxing classes...well I could but the closest gym around is like 45 minutes and its not worth the drive. I really like doing Tae-bo, & it is challenging if you actually take the time to learn how to correctly do the moves & if you push yourself. Anyway, thats what I think about it.

I ilke Tea Bo - it is fun and keeps you moving, and yes, it can be empowering, but don't think you are learning self-defense moves.

As a switch up to my regular cardio routine, Tae Bo is nice!
