I started out 6 months ago doing curves 3 times a week. I have since kind out grown that. Now I am trying to add other things in.
Here is what I do every week now. what do you think, do I need more cardio more resistance or what? My goal is to tone and loose weight.
Sunday rest
Monday Curves 45 minutes
Tuesday cardio/pilates 40 minutes
Wed rest
Thurs Curves 45 minutes
Friday cardio kickboxing 45 minutes
Sat weight train upper and lower body
Thanks

Not sure what curves is exactly, But im not supporter of the whole pilates ordeal, How is your diet as well???
To tone and lose weight I would say it looks pretty good as that is what I am doing at this point but I lift 2 times a week and only have 1 rest day....Looks good to me and as long as your eating right I wouldnt really change that much just a tweak or two.

Curves (women's gym) is a 30 minute circuit which includes various hydrolic machines and cardio is done in between machines on a spring board.

Curves is a circuit training women's gym based upon resistance. Basically a social circle with weights. I enjoyed managing and being a trainer at one, but after a while many stabalize and personally, I prefer the regular gyms with the free weights and various weight training machine better.

Oh how I wish I'd found this site a whole lot sooner. In January it was a decision between joining the new Curves that had just opened or joining a local gym, fairly small, but getting help from a personal trainer. Being that I'm new to using weights and a woman, I felt more comfortable joining Curves.
There is quite a bit of socializing that occurs. Personally, I just keep to myself and work the machines. I guess being shy helps!!! :)
