I have been lifting and eating right and have gained a descent amount of wait and have maintained or at least not gained in bf%, so I think I was doing it right, but I am getting married and it is summer time and would like to bring my bf% down now and am not sure exactly how to change my diet. Here is an example of what I eat now...
Meal 1 ... 6 egg whites, 1/2 cup (precooked) oatmeal with a handful of raisins and some cinammon in it, 1 tbls MCT oil.
Meal 2 ... 1/2 cup of chicken breast, 1/2 cup sweet potatoes, 1/2 cup peas, 1 tbls MCT oil.
Meal 3 ... 1/2 cup of chicken breast, 1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup california mix veggies (brocc, caul, carrots), 1 tbls MCT oil.
Meal 4 ... 2 scoops of ON's Chocolate or Strawberry whey protein powder and a handful of baby carrots.
Meal 5 ... 1 chicken breast, 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes (plain w/skim milk and molly mcbutter for flavoring), and some veggie (corn, green beans, peas, asparagus).
Meal 6 ... Usually don't do, but will have a protein shake sometimes.

First thing would be, what am I currently doing wrong, and the next thing would be how do I adjust this to help reduce my bf%?

I have read from bb1's posts that I need to switch to a 50/30/20 ratio and I am guessing that I need to take out the starchy carbs from my third meal on or something like that. I am sure that I need to count my caloric intake better, but I just plain suck at that. Any help would be wonderful!

Hey, spaz,
cut out the raisins, the peas, switch the mashed poataoes to sweet poataoes or a green veggie, or brown rice.
Meal 6 - before bed, always have some casein and whey protein, if you don't want a shake, have some cottage cheese and a handful of walnuts.

If you find you are hungry, bump up your protein intake a little.

Try those changes for two weeks 9take some before photos and take photos again in 2 weeks, it will tell you more than scales or calipers). If there is a change, more definition, hold the course. If not, decrease your calories slightly.

Thanks. I have no idea why, but I decided to decrease my protein in half when I eat chicken. I usually eat about 1 cup at each meal. I definitely need to change because I lost weight and gained in bf% this week.
