That does depend on what you are taking. Creatine, yes. Glutamine, yes. multi-vitamin, yes.

Malto-dextrin.dextrose, no.

Sufficient protein, yes.

You can use your protein powder on your off days - but it is more beneficial to get whole food sources. Save yourself some money by using your protein powder after your workouts and eating real foods the rest of the time.

yah it is a waste of money but i dont know what else can give me 66 grams of protein in one meal .....any suggestions?

i get 54 grams by combining a can of black beans, a bag of parboiled brown rice, and 4 oz. of extra-lean ground beef. quite tasty if you season the beef right. i usually eat bison but that freaks a lot of people out.

other high-protien foods:
tuna
skinless chicken breasts
tri-o-plex bars :big_smile:
etc...

check out the grocery list for a body-builder. that's a great source to get food ideas from.

Bison and ostrich are 2 of my favorite foods. I love bison, to me has a much "sweeter" taste than beef.
