I like clams, but my tummy doesn't though, which is why it's such a bummer. But I found these for you, gg.
Clams like other bivalves are low in fat, high in protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Clams are also a rich source of potassium and are relatively low in calories.
===========================================================
Nutritional data for a 3-ounce (85 g) cooked portion of clams:
Water………………..54.09 g Calcium…………………..78 mg
Calories………………….126 Phosphorus……………...287 mg
Protein……………….21.71 g Sodium……………………95 mg
Total lipid fat……….....1.65 g Potassium………………..534 mg
Carbohydrate………….4.36 g Iron………………….....23.76 mg
Cholesterol………….....57 mg Zinc……………………...2.32 mg
===========================================================
Kind of looks like a perfect food source, but I would cook it thoroughly if I were you, they can be eaten when ingested half-cooked or raw even.

MMM, linguine with garlic and clams.. oh, no linguine for you, golden gloves!!!! Saute your clams in their juice with some garlic and olive oil, ooh. Serve over a little brown rice, aah.
Don't blame me if they are rubbery, yechh.

linguine with garlic and clams.......mmmmm....asimmer...I love you :love: I'm hungry though...no linguine..But I usually steam them with lemon and herbs and tons of garlic, they're divine. Damn tummy won't let me eat them without medicine though :( oh well...Don't forget to cook them until all of the clams are opened and have a good color.
