Hi, I am interesting in building muscle. I love candy and sweets, but I am willing to give that up. I do have a high metabolism! But I want to know what foods are good to eat if you want to gain calories for muscle growth. I tried using the nutritional plan thing on this site, but it was too confusing and complicated for me. I can't remember everythign I ate, plus it's hard going out and picking the foods you eat. Could someone just give me a list of foods that are good for muscle development.
-Thanks

kj you can check out the bodybuilder grocery list on the nutrition board, that will help. Here's the thing though, building muscle doesn't just happen, you have to work at it. One of the things body builders spent most of their time doing is concentrating on their nutrition and diet. If you want it to happen for you, you have to be willing to do all the work that it takes. It is complex but you can learn it, if you really want to.
Welcome to FT and good luck!

There is also a great FAQ in the FAQ forum all about eating!
