REST: is 72 hours enough?

i am 17 yeras old.
bodybuilsings = my passion

i would like to know is 72 hours enough rest to workout one muscle group again?

important to say i eat a lot and rest a lot.

If you are not losing strength, that is you are getting stronger when you do that bodypart again, then you are probably getting adequate rest. You will have to be the judge of that. If on the other hand, you have troubles matching your last workout at least, you may be overtraining that bodypart and need more rest.

rest is important, but not needed a lot. i read an article when i was little about a bball player in the city who was 14, and played basketball til 10 at night on schooldays and on weekends played til 1 in the mornin dont worry about rest so much.a smart ,man once told me if u move around in your sleep, your not really resting, because your muscles arent relaxed.

u want to rest your muscles. th days u lift, that night go to your room. ie in your bed on your back. let your arms and legs go. be motionless. close your eyes and take ten deep breathes slowly. u will feel exhausted, and soon fall asleep. when u wake up u will feel like a new man, completley renergized. try it
